| On August 3, 2003, construction on the
MOMB's new The Fall of the House of Usher period room began.
This new wing will present our Usher collection in a more cohesive
& interactive manner. Instead of traditional museum glass cases,
visitors will be able to fully experience the gloomy atmosphere
and dark tone so inherent to the Usher collection. The projected
grand opening date for the new wing is mid May, 2004. The Museum
would like to thank the Theresa Merriweather Foundation
for their support of this project. |
